This past Saturday I spent 5k to be in a 1 day private mastermind of 10 entrepreneurs. And you may be thinking, wow 5k for one day is insane!! In reality, I didn’t go for the information but to meet other people who were willing to pay that much for the day, I went to network.

Recently, I asked my sister for advice, I asked what advice she would give me to help me grow and scale and she said I needed to network more and collaborate with more people. Since then, I’ve made more of an effort to network and immerse myself in my community. From the 5k mastermind, I got 3 new clients for my AI business which means I made 3x my investment on the day.

I’ve realized that you have to leverage your network, especially if you have a business everyone and their mom should know what you do, and don’t be shy to tell people. Being shy is expensive, it will cost you opportunities if you’re not willing to speak up and talk about what you do.

Start leveraging your circle of influence as much as you can but also work on building a genuine connection with people because people can feel when you are being real or not.

So right now, make a list of 5 people you want to get closer to, this can be a friend you look up to, a family member who is an amazing mom, or someone you knew from high school who is doing amazing things, whoever it may be, write their names down and make an effort to touch base with them. This doesn’t always have to be business-related it can just be anyone you want to learn and be more like.

You Need To Grow Your Personal Brand

If you take only 1 thing from me and never hear from me again, let it be this…. PLEASE GROW YOUR PERSONAL BRAND!!!! I can’t emphasize this enough, I don’t care where you live or what you do, there is great power when you have a personal brand.

The gates of opportunities will open up into a whole new life you didn’t know existed. There is truly nothing more powerful than having a strong personal brand. With a strong personal brand everything you do or touch will turn into gold.

Just think of Mr. Beast, one of the biggest Youtubers of all time. He literally came out with chocolate and it’s sold out everywhere, it’s probably not the best chocolate but it sells because of his brand. I know people on social media who are making 100K+ monthly from TikTok because they have a personal brand. And you don’t have to be an entrepreneur, simply show people what you already do.

There are literally moms on TikTok who show themselves being a mom who are now rich because of it. I can go on and on and the reality is you probably know you should be growing your personal brand, your brand will fuel any business or venture you decide to do in the future. So take this as your sign to start growing your brand, it’s not too late, just do it!
