💕 Understanding Your Menstrual Cycle
👑 How To Work Around Your Cycle
✨ My Natural Birth Control
Do you really know how every stage of your cycle affects you?
So I recently truly learned about my cycle, and it’s been a game changer!!! Yes, we all may know how our hormones change during our period, but did you know there’s a time in your cycle during which you should work on your business, another time when you will naturally be more sexually active, and a time to rest? Let me quickly break it down for you.
Day 1-7: Period. During this time, you need to listen to your body, as everyone’s period affects them differently—you know what you need.
Day 8-15: Post-Period. Woohoo, post-period! You should feel great! You will feel reenergized and outgoing, and you will be more social. This is an amazing time to work on any business and work venture.
Day 16-20: Ovulation. During ovulation, you may want to be more sexually active; however, you’re also fertile, so be careful! You’ll feel happy, loving, and sexy. You will also have more energy here to work on any business ventures or hobbies.
Day 21-28: Pre-Period. We all know how it feels when your period is coming. You may feel tired, emotional, break out, and be less motivated.

How do I plan around my cycle?
Now that you've learned how your cycle works, you can use it to your advantage! Why try rolling a ball up a hill (going against your cycle and body) when you can sync your cycle with your life? When I'm about to get my period or currently on my period, I like to take it a bit easier and focus on my self-care. Instead of doing intense workout classes, I'll go on walks, do pilates, or engage in anything else that doesn't put too much stress on my body. I also take a lighter approach when it comes to business matters and focus on the side of the business that is more enjoyable, like creating content. Remember, your body is a temple; let's take care of it. Alot of hormones are released during different times in your cycle, making it important to learn how to harmonize your body and mind. Once my period is over and my energy is restored, I put it to use! During my post-period and ovulation stages, I work out intensely, make an effort to socialize more, and typically become a bit more naturally sexually active. I channel my energy towards my health and business, knowing that once my period comes again, my energy will be down, making me a bit less driven for business. It's somewhat challenging to explain here, so I've also attached this video from an amazing podcast here.
Also, PLEASE, if you have a partner, teach them about your cycle as well. My fiance knows my cycle like the back of his hand, and it's so important for our relationship. I'll be honest, during my pre-period phase, I get very, very emotional (lol). I was literally emotional last night for no reason, questioning everything, and honestly, it was the hormones. However, my fiance came to comfort me, and instead of saying things like, 'What now?' or 'You're crazy, things are fine,' he simply gave me a little smirk because he knew my phase. He reassured me that everything was okay and expressed how much he loved me. If he didn't know my cycle, he would be so confused. This is just a small example, but it truly has changed our relationship. My fiance knows which phase I'm in every week and knows what to expect, and understands what I need.

My Natural Birth Control
This might be controversial, but I am strongly against using birth control for my personal use. It's truly alarming to me how common it is to put young girls on birth control. By the time women are ready to have kids, they could have been on birth control for over 10 years!! Doesn't that sound insane? Isn't it crazy to consider that you're disrupting your body's natural cycle? Having your period is beneficial for your body and is necessary, which is why it occurs! I've experimented with nearly all the birth control options available until I was fed up. I thought, Okay, it's 2023, people can travel to the moon, but there's no natural birth control?! I began extensive research and realized there's a solution and a good too! It's also 99.4% effective and it's called Daysy. Not to be overly dramatic, but it's a game changer and a necessity. I've used mine for almost two years now, and all I do is take my temperature orally every morning. It will flash with green (no risk of pregnancy), yellow, or red (risk of pregnancy). It even displays purple, indicating your upcoming period. This is the only natural method I trust. Please don't rely on those period apps; you need to measure your body temperature each morning. I have a YouTube video discussing this in more detail. Lastly, I'd like to say: don't follow the crowd. Just because everyone takes birth control doesn't mean you have to. Question everything, and if something doesn't seem right to you, do your research to find an alternative. Don't ruin your body and future family due to a lack of research. Remember, it's never too late to make a change.
